All Stuffed

This weekend I was in Chicago for the Palos Hills Spring conference, and I decided to go to Giordano's for dinner. I traveled to Giordano's with my family on Friday night. I had their famous deep dish pizza. It was over an inch thick stuffed with Canadian bacon, sausage, cheese and pepperoni and topped with a chunky tomato sauce. It was good pizza! I also had thin crust pizza with green olives and pepperoni. I liked it because it had my favorite kind of olives and it was crispy. For my appetizer I had calamari, with lemon juice squeezed on it. Delicious! My dad told me it was chicken, and when I was done he asked me, "so, how did you like your octopus." I had some more because I liked it. Its good to try new things. The dining room has a sign that hangs from the ceiling that says, "Thou shalt eat pizza-the 11th commandment." I agree. It isn't the 11th commandment though. Our waitress was friendly. She let us order before we got to the restaurant so we didn't have to wait very long for our pizza. I will visit Giordano's the next time I'm in Chicago. You should visit Giordano's too, if you are ever in Chicago. Its a long drive but its definitely worth it. I give Giordanos 5 stars!

Little Mexico

I went to Little Mexico for lunch on Sunday, April 11, 2010. I went with my family. We started with chips and salsa. They have really good salsa-not too spicy for me and other young kids. I had a quesadilla with cheese inside. It tasted lemony. It was big. I also had rice and guacamole. It was the first time I tried guacamole. I liked it. It tasted like avacados-go figure. The dining room at Little Mexico is interesting. It has paintings on the walls of Mexicans and the Pyramid at Chichen Itza. The service was good. Our waiter was friendly. The food came quick. I like to go there. I will go there again because I love Mexican food. I give 5 stars for Little Mexico!
